Bob, Alberta Thorpe, and Sandra (Thorpe) Hobkirk
This image was taken at the church in Raymond, Il., at Dad's
memorial
service.
Bob, now deceased, and his
wife Hulda, previously deceased, were caretakers at
the Mound Ridge camp. They were raised and lived in the Carlinville
area.
Bob
is
the
son of Edwin Lemon Thorpe, brother of Effe and Eliza. His
proper
name is Frank Robinson Thorpe - after his uncle ""' Bob"
who Aunt Effe
refers
to in her letter to grandma following their mothers
death.
Alberta,
in
red,
married Bobs son Larry, deceased. Larry and
Alberta lived
and
managed the Tadmor farm for a period of time. Alberta is referred to by
Paul Mellow
in one of his memo's. Sandra is Alberta's daughter.
