Rev. J B Thornton - Reading Schedule


        Based on my understanding the following schedule was first published in the year 1910 while grandpa was residing at Greenfield Illinois? After serving in India and Japan he returned with the family to Greenfield for a period of time. Records of the Presbyterian church here indicate that he filled the pulpit for a time during 1910. Other records show that the following year he carried on some of the Lord's business in Chicago.  David Thornton was born in Greenfield during 1911. Perhaps during 1910, while he "waited on the Lord for further guidance" he used the time to complete the schedule? In 1912 he returned to Japan.
